The level of education at this crèche is high with trained teachers who have the skills and passion needed to create a successful education facility. There however is a lack of infrastructure and funding to create a safe and aesthetically pleasing environment.

Of top most priority is the building of hygienic and safe toilet facilities. Currently over 100 community members use this long drop.

This is all they have access to. This is the toilet facility that the 50 odd kids in the crèche have to use, as well as the teachers. There is a serious concern for the safety of the children, especially the toddlers learning to walk.

We are looking for a sponsor to help the Knysna Education Trust establish:

• 1 permanent adult long-drop
• 2 child- friendly long-drops which can be used by the crèche kids.

The estimated budget: R10 000.
